Use Case how-to

The Shopify integration uses Shopify flow to enable users to configure the data flow configuration that best suits them. While we have templates out several pre-created common flows, we recommend you explore the options and configure the flow that best suits your business needed.

In order to ingest customers from your Shopify flows, you need to ensure you have a campaign created and a design published, see our ZAP~POST User Guide for a detailed walk through.

  1. From the Store page in Shopify, select apps, then Flow.

  2. Select Create Flow on the Flows screen

Flows Screen in Shopify with Create Flow button highlighted

  3. Select your prefered trigger and build out your flow to the point you want to send your mail. It may be helpful to refer to the Shopify flows documentation here https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/shopify-flow

  4. Add the Send a ZAP flow action

  5. Select the ZAP campaign you wish to configure the mail send for using the campaign selector in the step configuration

  6. This will also show you the custom fields configured on your campaign

  7. Once a campaign is selected you can select the appropriate shopify data to use using the mapper

  8. Once you're happy with the configuration you can save the flow. This can then be enabled or disabled whenever you desire

Any data received by ZAP~POST will be compiled into a new submission in the evening ready for the next posting date with our mailing partners.
